Anticipation is always one of my favorite emotions to document. Whether it’s on a wedding day or during an engagement session, or the anticipation of a new baby during a maternity session, there’s just something special and genuine about anticipation. This past June I was able to document a Dodge Park maternity session with Connie and Brad, full of anticipation for their little boy, Carter.
Carter was born last week and I thought it would be fitting to share these maternity photos before they officially became a family of three. There’s just nothing like having photos to remember how you were pre-baby, waiting for their arrival.
